2008 JO Nationals Results
Congratulations to all the Region 2 athletes, coaches and parents to another successful Junior Olympic National Championships.
This is the 2nd year in a row that Region 2 has placed in the top 3 for the Regional Team competition with the Level 9’s taking 3rd place. This is unprecedented for Region 2 and is a tribute to the hard work of many individuals.
Special recognition also goes to the following athletes and their coaches:

Alex is a Level 9 and place 4th in the All Around making him a member of the Junior National Team. Alex also placed 2nd on Floor and 3rd on Rings. |

Dominic is a Level 9 and placed 5th in the All Around making him a member of the Junior National Team. Dominic also placed 6th on Pommel Horse, 4th (tie) on Parallel Bars and was the National Champion on the High Bar. |

Cade is a Level 9 and placed 19th in the All Around. This placement qualified him for the Ricky Deece Team Camp. Cade also placed 3rd on the Parallel Bars. |

Konner Ackerman |

Konner is a Level 10 (14-15 year old) and placed 5th on Pommel Horse. |

Finally congratulations to Black Hills Gymnastics for placing 1st in the Team Club Competition for Level 9’s. This means that for the 2007 – 2008 competitive season, Black Hills Gymnastics has the best Level 9 team in the country. And this is the 2nd year in a row that Black Hills Gymnastics has won this award.
Congratulations once again for the success that Region 2 had at this year’s JO National Championships.
